Who writes our guides
Articles are written and edited by the CashyLend Editorial Team, the people who run CashyLend. We credit articles to the team rather than to individual authors. Our guides are general education about borrowing. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice, and nobody at CashyLend acts as your financial adviser.
How we check facts
- Before an article is published or updated, a member of the team checks its figures and rules against primary sources where they exist, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, the credit bureaus, and lenders' own published disclosures.
- The loan amounts, APR range, and repayment terms we quote for lenders in our network match our rates and terms page: $500 to $200,000, 5.99% to 35.99% APR, and 3 to 84 months.
- Worked examples show the math, so you can check it yourself or try your own numbers in the loan payment calculator.
- We don't promise approval, specific rates, or funding times. Each lender decides whether to make an offer and sets its own rate, fees, and terms.
How often we review
We review each article at least once a year, and sooner when a rule, a rate range, or our own service changes. The "Updated" date at the top of every article shows when it last changed.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email support@cashylend.com. We'll check it, correct the article if needed, and update its date.
How CashyLend is paid
CashyLend is a loan-matching and lead-generation service, not a lender. We don't charge you to use our website. We may be paid by lenders, lending partners, and other companies in our network when we refer a request to them. Those companies decide whether to make you an offer and set its rate, fees, and terms.
Our guides don't recommend a specific lender, and we don't accept payment to publish or change an article. See our terms of service and privacy policy for how requests and information are shared.
